Japan Melon All-in-One Gel Review
The Melon All-in-One Gel has the most attractive packaging out of all the rest in this month's April box. I definitely will keep the melon case to put my earrings in when I finish using the product by month's end.
The gel is by Eye Products and has about 85g worth of product (75% of which leaked out during the shipment, pity).
I was really hyped about getting the all-in-one gel in my beauty box because it is one of the things Japanese women do so well in. The product is supposed to a huge time saver and miracle product that substitutes all your toners, moisturizer and essence in the skincare regimen and reduce it to just 1 simple product!
The product has 3 types of collagen, 3 types of hyaluronic acid, and 5 different fruit extracts.
But you can see the product leaking out here due to the shipment and packaging.
The gel is like jelly! Which makes it really fun to use. It comes with a plastic spoon so it feels like you are eating jelly, I mean, letting your skin eat the jelly. And the jelly sinks back into a smooth jelly surface even after you scoop some product up.
After rubbing the gel into the skin, I felt that it was more plump and moisturized. It left a mild, faint melon smell on my skin.
However, it left a sticky feel which I do not like. On my next application, I used lesser product and applied it as a thinner layer and there was no stickiness.
I hope that in subsequent boxes, NMNL will still include All-in-one gel for us like DHC's Astaxanthin Collagen All-in-one gel.
The gel contains collagen properties inside, which helps for skin firming. It seems to be one of their best-selling products together with their Deep Cleansing Oil. Shu Uemura came up with their deep cleansing oil first, but I think DHC's version is just as good. And with more secure packaging please!
