Menturm Lip Dress Pearl Beige Lipbalm Review
Usually when I purchase my lip balms, I will get those which has menthol in them and focus more on lip protection. Omi Brotherhood Menturm has their top product, the medicated chapstick, which I would have gotten instead of this tinted lip balm for my dry lips.
But the lipbalm is the closest product in April's nmnl box to a makeup product, so hurray!
Lip Dress Lipbalm by Omi Brotherhood Menturm comes in 2 colors: Milky Pink and Natural Beige. Milky pink would have been the natural popular pick, so I am glad I can try the Natural Beige instead.
Other than the usual jojoba oil and shea butter, it also has a mild chamomile fragrance.
It is a brown-gold in color and when applied on the lip, has a shimmery effect.
It is also moisturizing with about 2-3 layers of swipes.
But my lips has no color and this lip balm does not add a natural pink tint other than the glossy, moisturized look. So I used my liptint first for color, and then used the lip balm to gloss over it. The overall effect is a plumped look, all without any plumping lipstick.
Overall, the lip balm is a very light tint on the lips, almost unnoticeable other than the shine. So, it is best to layer on colors. I like the glossy look it gives and it really does keep my lips from drying out from the lipsticks and liptints I use.
Use it to get the gold lips effect & try out the gold lips trend!
