All Products in NMNL April 2017 Box!

I was really disappointed with this month's box as we only got 5 items in total. But I guess it may because this month's box of face wash, skin cream and clay mask were full-sized tubes and not just small sample items. But still...

Here are my first impressions of the products I got in the March NMNL box!

1. Shiseido Senka Perfect Whip & Face Wash

The face wash is about 120g and should last me about 2-3 month of daily face washing.

It also came with a small essence sample: Senka's Perfect Essence Silky Moisture. For Asian skincare routine, it is essential to put essence and moisturizer after cleansing the face. So it complements the face wash and I can apply the essence (of the same line) immediately as the next step after cleansing.

I am glad to get Senka as it is one of the popular face wash in Japan households and also one of the most affordable by Shiseido.

2. Melon All-in-One Gel 

I was looking forward to using this all-in-one gel because the concept is huge in Japan and I do believe seeing many Japanese women having youthful complexions and wondering how do they do it?

Just like BB cream from Korea, the all-in-one gel is supposed to replace toner, moisturizer and essence in the skincare steps and yet, provide all the benefits all the same. For someone who does not have much time preparing for work every morning, I would say that's my best bet.

But unfortunately, its all smashed up and half the gel has leaked out. Seeing how the melon cover is actually a mere plastic, it has lowered my expectations for the product.

3. Derizum Moisture Veil Skin Cream

I have never heard of Derizum before so it is nice to be able to try out their products. At first glance, I think the point of the baby picture is to send the message across clearly that your skin will be as smooth as baby skin after using this cream.

Somehow, Japanese products always use baby face pictures on their packaging, which can look creepy sometimes. But for non-Japanese consumers like me, yeah I guess visually it fills in a lot of information about the product.

4. Dotfree Deep Clay Mask

Again, another packaging with baby faces. This time, there's 3 of them. So, if you use the clay mask like this baby, you will have clear skin and look like an angel. That's the message.

And the graphic drawing of blackheads removal there. So, the clay mask will remove your blackheads as well.

The thing that piqued my interest was the "Peeling Clay" words. The instructions in the nmnl booklet says to rinse it off but I think this mask can be peeled off. Time to solve the mystery.

5. Menturm Lip Dress Pearl Beige

Based on the packaging and the lipbalm cover color, I would have guessed that the lip balm is a tinted peach color. Peach shades will be nice for spring and summer! But, it says pearl beige.
