Japan Derizum Moisture Veil Skin Cream Review
A really moisturizing moisturizer
Surprisingly, this Derizum Skin Cream has become one of the moisturizer I use everyday now. Just a thin layer on my face and I feel my skin is plump, firm and soft.
Suitable for dry and sensitive skin
Derizum is a brand for dry and sensitive skin. All of their products helps to restore moisture and is gentle on the skin. So that is what I really like about this product.
With 8 types of ceramide, 15 types of amino acids, 3000mg of hyaluronic acid and dna-na, there is a lot of moisturizing goodness. All of Derizum's products contain ceramide, which are molecules that hold skin cells together to form a protective layer to retain moisture. Depleted ceramide means dry skin, which is why I focus a lot on moisturizing my skin.
Not just for winter or cold
I almost didn't use this product at all. At first, I thought that this skin cream, with its high moisture content, was meant to be for those living in cold regions. So I thought I could only use this rich creamy product in winter as it would block my pores in the hot & humid weather I am living in.
Thin layer will do
But I applied a thin layer on my face as the last step of toner - essence - moisturizer, and felt that it gave my skin the boost in moisture.
The skin cream has no scent and did not irritate my skin. So, gradually, I started to use it everyday.
Just a thin layer is enough to cover my entire face. No wonder they named it the Moisture Veil, because it feels like a light veil covering your face without weighing it down.
The cream has about 50g worth of product and is an affordable skincare product retailing at about USD$15. The bonus for me is that it is an alcohol free and paraben free product.
I hope to try other Derizum products like their Moisturizing Water Rich Cleansing Water (which is good for those who wear eyelash extensions), their Mild Peel Moist Wash or their Moisturizing Softening Milk.
